Global Acts of Unity

An interactive presentation about tolerance and how we can beat terrrorism by making friends across cultures.

In 2014, a British aid worker called David Haines was killed by ISIS terrorists in Syria, and a video of his murder was uploaded for the world to see online. In this interactive resource, David's brother Mike tells the story of their lives growing up together, and how David's death affected him and his family. But Mike refuses to hate his brother's killers. If he hates, then they have won. Instead he wants to talk of unity, tolerance and understanding.
