The last week of Jesus’ earthly life, from his arrival in Jerusalem on a donkey (now known as Palm Sunday) through to his crucifixion (on Good Friday) and resurrection (on Easter Day).
Holy Week is the week leading up to Easter. Every year Christians remember what happened to Jesus in Jerusalem during the last week of his earthly life, including his death on a cross, and his return to life.
