Explanation

The cube-shaped shrine in the middle of the sacred mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Context

The Ka’ba is the ‘House of God’. Wherever Muslims are in the world, they will face the direction of the Ka’ba when performing salah – the five daily prayers.
