As part of our ongoing “Portrait” series which brings big names from history and faith to life. In this film, we explore the story of Siddhartha Gautama—the man who became known as the Buddha, whose teachings have inspired millions of people around the world for two and half thousand years. The film follows the key moments in the Buddha’s life, from his sheltered upbringing as a prince, to the moment he left his royal life behind in search of answers about suffering and human existence, and on to his journey through meditation, self-discovery, and enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree.
