This is the idea, especially in Protestant churches, that God gives Christians forgiveness even if they don’t deserve it, provided they believe in, and have faith in, Jesus Christ.
For Christians who have put their faith in Jesus, being justified by faith means being seen by God as not guilty, that is, ‘justified’, even though everyone has done things wrong, or ‘committed sins’ as Christians would say.
